Saddle UP! 3,000 Marines To Suit Up For Afghanistan Duty

Anticipating an Orc Offensive as soon as the snow melts in the spring, the Pentagon has decided to forward a Marine battalion and air elements to fight in Afghanistan. After coalition allies refused to send reinforcements, Secretary Gates decided to reexamine his initial refusal to move Marines to Afghanistan. The Marine battalion will more likely be used to train Afghanis while the air units will attack Orc targets. Currently, there are some 27,000 American troops in country with 14,000 in with NATO and the remainder used for training and killing Orcs.
