Sgt. Ryan H. Lane The Department of Defense announced today the death of Sgt. Ryan H. Lane, 25, assigned to the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Sgt. Lane died July 23 of wounds suffered during incoming mortar fire against his company compound.
