MotoMail--Snail Mail at the Speed of Email Gets There Inside of 24 hours

Photo by: Sgt. Enrique S. Diaz

Lance Cpl. Adrian E. Fuentes, a 21-year-old administration clerk, reads a MotoMail letter his wife, Dianira, sent from Laredo, Texas, using MotoMail website . Fuentes is assigned to the 1st Marine Logistics Group, at Camp Taqaddum, Iraq. The mail is service designed to get mail to our junior ranks Cpls and below fighting in the nooks and crannies of Iraq where access to computers is limited or can not fit inside fox holes. The idea is not new but I had not heard about it until this release and the best part is the website is user friendly and free:
The system is a free service to all servicemembers, specifically their family members and friends who are interested in writing a letter to their Marine in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait, said Chief Warrant Officer 4 Don McCarty, postal officer for 1st Marine Logistics Group and 1st Marine Expeditionary Force.
Electronically sent letters keep morale high for Marines in Iraq
