The Middle Ground-Well Understood ...By Orcs

From PDavidHornik's website is his quote from Gary Bauer:

Here is what Obama and the American Left do not understand. When you negotiate with Iran, you aren’t negotiating with a country – you are negotiating with a cause. Countries can be convinced to make concessions. But a “cause,” in this case the creation of a worldwide Islamic caliphate, does not make concessions or follow the rules of diplomacy. Ahmadinejad and groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad see themselves as warriors for Allah. To them, every Western concession is further proof that Allah is bringing them victory; it is further justification for terrorism and other barbaric tactics. Israel understands this. Sadly, our president does not.

So Now
what part part of middle ground mendacity do you NOT! understand?

The prescience of a reader's prediction at Power Line

Prescience or the ability of some readers to discern, from gossamer delicate, light, flimsy clues floating in the air, the impending foot of Orc Terrorist (Terror Attacks In Mumbai-100 Murdered) is exemplified by a nameless reader to Power Line who, in a note to the blog, wrote:"this is the ideal time from their viewpoint, to strike another time...could add to my reasoning, but you get the point. I'm sure others have had a similar "epiphany" about this time period. I'm thinking November 26-27, or December 24-25."

This year... a POTUS could be elected who thinks the magic powers of talk can conquer... Satantic ORCS

The vote for POTUS this year is carrying heavy weight. The IBD explains in clear no bs terms exactly what you may have to look forward to in the next four years.

Nuclear Terrorism: What happens when an Islamofascist state gets the bomb and the White House falls into the hands of a president who thinks such enemies can be defeated with diplomacy? We shudder to think.

The director of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency on Monday reported that Iran will develop a nuclear weapon within three years. So without military action from the U.S. or Israel against Tehran's nuclear facilities, whoever is elected president later this year will be left with solving the global problem of an atomic terrorist state in the Middle East.

If that person is either of the two front-runners for the Democratic nomination, it could spell unprecedented danger. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama seem committed to the magic powers of negotiating a deal with Iran's fanatical mullahs — and surrounding them are "experts" who agree.

Both candidates favor direct negotiations at once. Sen. Obama's foreign policy adviser, Susan Rice of the Brookings Institution, an assistant secretary of state under President Bill Clinton, gave a possible preview in a 2004 article in the Washington Post.

"At the bargaining table," she wrote, "the United States could dangle various incentives the Iranians might find attractive. For instance, in exchange for a full and verifiable halt to Iran's nuclear program as well as termination of its support for terrorism and anti-U.S. elements in Iraq and Afghanistan, the United States could offer to lift U.S. sanctions, normalize relations, pay some Iranian claims against the United States, promote new trade and investment flows, allow Iranian membership in the World Trade Organization, guarantee access to civilian nuclear power or provide regional security guarantees."

Another Obama foreign consultant, Samantha Power of Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, recently advised "refraining from redundant reminders that military force is still 'on the table,' which only strengthen the hand of hard-line Islamists and nationalists."

Instead, she recommended "trying high-level political negotiations." It's true, Power allows, "that earlier attempts at engagement have produced few dividends. But what negotiations can do is diminish perceptions of U.S. arrogance."

Sen. Clinton may be viewed as more hawkish than Obama, but how true is that perception? Her Iran experts, Ray Takeyh and Vali Nasr, recommend "engagement as a means of achieving a more pluralistic and responsible government in Tehran."

They have written that "to liberalize the theocratic state, the United States would do better to . . . embark on a policy of unconditional dialogue and sanctions relief. A reduced American threat would deprive the hard-liners of the conflict they need to justify their concentration of power."

Often mentioned as possible secretary of state in a Hillary Clinton administration is Richard Holbrooke, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and a supposed hawk who has done his share of huffing and puffing about the Iran threat.

But after last December's National Intelligence Estimate downplaying that threat, Ari Berman of the leftist Nation magazine elicited a telling comment from the veteran of the Carter State Department. "I thought even pre-NIE," Holbrooke told Berman, "that there was no justification for a military strike."

Americans have a lot to consider when they cast their votes this year. Nothing, however, is more important than what man or woman sitting in the Oval Office is more likely to prevent an atomic war in the Mideast or the incineration of a U.S. city by a terrorist sleeper cell.

This year a president could be elected who thinks talk can conquer that threat.

Johnathan Goodwin's 100mpg Lincoln Continental With Double Horse Power and 80% Less Emissions

Clive Thompson at Fast Company writes about a home-grown, didn't go to high school, didn't go to college, innovator that just make the difference in the war against the Satanic Orcs and getting us off the Saudi Teat. Johnathan Goodwin is a motor Wizard working in Wichita, Kansas. The short version of what this motor wizard, genius, has created with automobile engines puts a lie to everything that Detroit-big-fat-cry baby automakers weep, no, no, impossible-can't-be-done-sorry go away leave us alone-mantra. He took a lemon Hummer doubled the mileage of 9 to 18 using french fried oil. You also might have seen his work on Pimp My Ride where he took the show pick of a '65 Chevy Impala, converted the bad boy car to run on biodiesel, doubled the mileage to 25 mpg and increased the hp from 250 to 800. Are you interested? Hell, thats not all. The Impala drag-raced the sassy $100,000 Lamborghini at Pomona Raceway and blew the Italian spaghetti off the road.

The kicker is that all he has created with engines not only improves the environment but he has done it with OFF-THE-SHELF-PARTS. This American Wizard has a plan to get us off the Saudi Teat by converting one third of passenger cars to diesel. From diesel we can then follow up to bio-fuels by passing the current stalemate of nobody wants to buy cars that do not have refuel stations as accessible as fast food joints. DOT says that if only one third of light trucks and passenger cars were converted to diesel we'd reduce our oil consumption by 1.4 million barrels of oil per day--which is the current amount we import from, our friends, the Saudi's. Less Cash. Fewer Orcs. The financing of the Orc Wars starts with us.
"Johnathan's in a league of his own," says Martin Tobias, CEO of Imperium Renewables, the nation's largest producer of biodiesel. "Nobody out there is doing experiments like he is."

Nobody--particularly not Detroit. Indeed, Goodwin is doing precisely what the big American automakers have always insisted is impossible. They have long argued that fuel-efficient and alternative-fuel cars are a hard sell because they're too cramped and meek for our market. They've lobbied aggressively against raising fuel-efficiency and emissions standards, insisting that either would doom the domestic industry. Yet the truth is that Detroit is now getting squeezed from all sides. This fall, labor unrest is brewing, and after decades of inertia on fuel-economy standards, Congress is jockeying to boost the target for cars to 35 mpg, a 10 mpg jump (which is either ridiculously large or ridiculously small, depending on whom you ask). More than a dozen states are enacting laws requiring steep reductions in greenhouse-gas emissions. Meanwhile, gas prices have hovered around $3 per gallon for more than a year. And European and Japanese carmakers are flooding the market with diesel and hybrid machines that get up to 40% better mileage than the best American cars; some, such as Mercedes's new BlueTec diesel sedans, deliver that kind of efficiency and more horsepower.

General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler, in short, have a choice: Cede still more ground--or mount a technological counterattack.

Goodwin's work proves that a counterattack is possible, and maybe easier than many of us imagined. If the dream is a big, badass ride that's also clean, well, he's there already. As he points out, his conversions consist almost entirely of taking stock GM parts and snapping them together in clever new ways. "They could do all this stuff if they wanted to," he tells me, slapping on a visor and hunching over an arc welder. "The technology has been there forever. They make 90% of the components I use." He doesn't have an engineering degree; he didn't even go to high school: "I've just been messing around and seeing what I can do."

Blair Finds His Balls-Calls Islam "Deadly Ideology" Duh

In his first speech, since his much encouraged retirement, Mr. Blair called Iran an money pot for Orcs and warned that Islam means fascism. Oh double duh. Mr. Blair said Great Britain, America and their allies risk retreat if they don't get a hard on about defending western values that define men of the west. Mr. Blair said that Iran would go to any lengths to destabilize the west in support of the "deadly Ideology" that drives Muslim extremist. As if we didn't already know that one. Mr. Blair continued in his double weasel speak oh gosh, golly are these my balls tone with this oldy but goody:
"Analogies with the past are never properly accurate and analogies especially with the rising fascism can be easily misleading, but in pure chronology I sometimes wonder if we're not in the 1920s or 1930s again."

Oh dear me, Awesome Churchillian speak, don't you think. Just bloody awesome. "
I sometimes wonder if we're not in the 1920s or 1930s again." Just sucks your breath away with blinding stupidity. I sometimes wonder if these are my pants or Harvey's.

Mr. Blair received three standing O's for this one:
"This ideology now has a state, Iran, that is prepared to back and finance terror in the pursuit of destabilizing countries whose people wish to live in peace."

Sonia Henie's Tutu! Did this boy wonder just fall off the turnip truck. Years as Prime Minister and not once did he ever state any thing quite so clearly until now. Not even a year in retirement and already he has the vision and wisdom of Solomon.
Unbelievable. Three standing Ovations from the rich and powerful of New York City who obliviously appreciate a plain spoken man. Heroic men like Rupert Murdoch, chairman of the News Corporation, and mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City. Yes, thats right New York City. The City that just last week turned the Empire State Building green to celebrate the end of Ramadan for a religion that prefers to cut off the clits of little girls and murder wives in the street when "honor" has been insulted.

Mr. Blair, who now makes ends meet, in his retirement, by working as a talking head for the Middle East Quartet said
violent extremism was a "perversion of the proper faith of Islam", which used "demonic skill" to exploite genuine grievances and fears held by Muslims around the world.

"There is a tendency even now, even in some of our own circles, to believe that they are as they are because we have provoked them and if we left them alone they would leave us alone," he said. "I fear this is mistaken. They have no intention of leaving us alone."

Incredible courage from a fearless leader, under whose watch a "conservative mainstream British Muslim" group in Mr. Blair's own back yard now has gained sufficient political strength to "advise" the current government: Melanie Phillips

More very alarming evidence indeed of the attitudes of ‘mainstream’ British Muslims. As the Telegraph reports, the Conservative Muslim Forum, a body set up by David Cameron to advise the Conservatives on Muslim issues and which is headed by Lord Sheikh, has condemned the government’s support for Israel on the grounds that this displeases Muslims and says that Iran has ‘legitimate’ reasons for wanting nuclear weapons. It also argues that preachers who advocate a rejection of democracy and its institutions should not be denied entry into Britain.

In the document, the group says:

Regardless of the foreign policies of the United States, hostility to Iran is not in Britain’s national interest. A constructive engagement with Iran offers many possibilities for progress.

But of course, this inverts the facts. Britain is not hostile to Iran; Iran has declared war upon Britain and the west. There can be no ‘constructive engagement’ with a country that is currently blowing up our soldiers in Iraq. For British citizens to state that although they oppose Iran getting nuclear weapons, it has legitimate reasons for wanting them when it is committed to the destruction of Israel and war against the west, is appalling.

Neglecting his own garden, Mr. Blair is now in Dubya's to supposedly sooth wrecked feelings of acute anxiety after Mr. Dubya's plain spoken announcement: Iran acquires the A-bomb precipitates World War III.

Mr Bush said:

"I've told people that if you're interested in avoiding World War three, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them (Iran) from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon."

Sounded plain enough to me and I thought well, at least, the king of the Orcs won't miss this clue but today I find out that the shhh -go back to sleep squad has been quietly and urgently passing out the world"he didn't mean it. He did'n't mean it. It's OK. He didn't mean it" "NOT a threat of War" No worries he was just making a point.

"White House press secretary, Dana Perino, said President Bush was making a "rhetorical point", not a threat of war."

She said:

"The president was not making any war plans, and he wasn't making any declarations. He was making a point, and the point is that we do not believe - and neither does the international community believe - that Iran should be allowed to pursue nuclear weapons."
Oh well, that's alright, then. Isn't it. Everyone can go back to breathing. I mean Dubya was just making a rhetorical point it's not like the king of the Orcs promise to wipe Isreal off the map with the first bomb out the oven. Isn't it.

Al-Qaida's Orcs Kill Their Own

Asaeb al-Iraq al-Jihadiya "the Iraqi Jihad Union" is complaining that Al-Qaida's "Islamic State of Iraq" Orcs are deliberately killing their own in Diyala province and mutilating their bodies: "
To make things worse, they dug up their bodies from the graves, further mutilated them, beheaded them, and showed them off from their vehicles while driving through the towns. [The ISI] even killed our men’s wives and children."
The horror...the horror...someone will pay for this, charges will be filed and heads will...ah, oh never mind. Just one minor detail, for the record, does the 72 virgin deal still apply? Just, you know, asking.
