Diyar Ismail Mahmoud, AKA Abu al-Afghani, ID'ed as the killer of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca of Houston and Pfc. Thomas Tucker of Madras, Ore, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division was transfered to outside the air-locker status according to Baghdad National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie. No details as to who, how or when the escort teams encouraged his early exit.
