New GI bill Pays Rent, Books and Tuition

This month starts the Post 9/11 GI Bill. From now on, all veterans can get their BA at any US university and some private colleges at no cost. You will also get some help with rent and a$1000. bucks a year towards books and supplies. A grand? For Books? For the entire year? Books are slightly cheaper than pure gold. Humm. I don't know about that-sounds like a low ball number. If you skimp on the supplies you might be able to pay for all your books for one semester. But, never mind, you do what you can with what you've got and at any how it sure as heck beats my Neolithic version from the previous stone age post Vietnam.
