Abu Ayyub al-Masri, Al Qaeda big shot, was nabbed last night in Mosul by the Iraqi Army.
Abu Ayyub al-Masri, AKA Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, took the helm after his predecessor Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was confirmed killed in an airstrike June 7, 2006.
The IA's are understandably pumped about the midnight capture as news of the midnight arrest was already reported by Iraqi state television.
