U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

This makes me sick. What the worst part was is having to inform my husband in Afghanistan and have him say that it does not surprise him. Kind of sends a chill up your spine now doesn't it
